Nestled in the Arouca countryside, within Porto’s metropolitan area, Quinta de S. Pedro feels like a time capsule tucked into nature. This historic estate—mentioned in 16th-century records and once owned by the distinguished Quadros Teixeira family—bears the family’s 18th-century coat of arms above the entrance gate, inscribed with the name of Jacinto de Quadros Teixeira, a relative of the Holy Office.Through the centuries, the property has weathered many changes, yet it has always remained a family estate—home to the main house and the caretaker’s residence. Today, both have been lovingly restored and modernised to offer guests an unforgettable, soul-soothing stay.
